The Mixpresso espresso maker is known as one of the best machines for those starting out in the world of espresso making. Because of this, I knew I had to try it out and review it to see whether it really does live up to the hype or is completely overrated.
So, let’s get started with my Mixpresso espresso maker review.
The Design of This Machine
The design is probably the best part of this machine. The gold look of the exterior really stands out compared to the majority of run-of-the-mill, similar-looking espresso machines. The machine’s design is greatly complemented by its durable build, making it a welcome addition to my kitchen.
No matter the knocks and bashes it took from my clumsiness, it stayed looking and working perfectly. The stainless steel finish to the cup warmer and the removable drip tray add a nice touch of elegance, while the compact size ensures it won’t take up too much counter space, which is quite important for me.
Ease of use is quite important when it comes to espresso machines, and the Mixpresso excels in this aspect. The two buttons for single and double espresso make it easy and simple to use.
15 Bar Brewing Performance
Although the user-friendliness and look of a machine are great, the main thing that anyone cares about is what the coffee tastes like. Luckily, the Mixpresso did not disappoint. The 15-bar pressure produced delicious coffee, and the 1450-watt auto-fast heating made sure that the coffee was made quicker than other machines that are at the same price.
Furthermore, the 15-bar pressure pump created a rich and aromatic crema. Personally, I loved it. So, as a lover of coffee and money, this cheaper coffee machine option was perfect for me.
The Mixpresso Espresso Machine offers versatility as well, which I liked. As I had different cups, and different sizes of these cups, using non-adjustable espresso machines has always been a struggle.
However, the adjustable cup tray allowed me to use both small espresso cups and larger mugs, which is a great option to have.
Cleaning and Maintenance
I don’t want to spend more time than necessary cleaning my coffee machine compared to enjoying the coffee it produces. Thankfully, there are lots of easy-to-remove parts that are dishwasher safe.
The drip tray and water reservoir can be removed for effortless cleaning, ensuring that the machine remains in top-notch condition with minimal effort on the user’s part. Descaling takes a bit of time, but that is all.
