This espresso maker is a unique machine that I just had to try out. So, read on as I list out all the pros and cons in my review of the MEROL Automatic Espresso Coffee Machine.
My Rating

The Design
Personally, I think the design is very functional. It might not be the prettiest machine ever, but the black box design makes it suitable for many kitchens.
Apart from that, I don’t really have much else to say about the appearance!
The Performance
Now onto the coffee this machine produces. Personally, I really enjoyed the coffee, and with the ability to create many different coffees, I enjoyed trying out a variety of drinks in the week I used it.
It was quite easy to use, thanks to its touch screen and knobs, and I could also customize my favorite coffees to save time.
Another benefit to this machine when it comes to performance is its 19-bar pump, which creates high-pressure coffee where you can really taste the flavor and aroma. This is definitely one of the main contributing factors to the quality of coffee it produces.
What’s more, it also has its own built-in grinder. Whether I wanted fine grounds or coarse ones, I was able to do so quite easily thanks to its simple-to-use adjustable settings.
With the built-in steam wand added to the machine, it really is an all-in-one machine, perfect for making any type of coffee, whether it’s a simple espresso or a cappuccino or flat white.

Self Cleaning Feature
One thing I really liked about this machine was its self-cleaning feature. Lots of machines have a so-called ‘self-cleaning feature’, but really, all it self-cleans is one part, and you have to clean the rest of it on your own. However, this machine has a proper self-cleaning feature, and it works wonderfully, I must add. Every time I started it up, it would self-clean, meaning that I could enjoy delicious coffee every time I used it.
The Noise
Although this machine was great, it’s not without its faults. The noise was particularly loud, louder than most of the other machines I’ve tried in fact. However, if you don’t mind that (and I didn’t), then all the other great benefits of this machine are sure to outweigh this negative.

Wrapping Up the MEROL Automatic Espresso Coffee Machine Review
Overall, I quite enjoyed using this machine. The design was functional, the coffee quality was excellent, and it had all the features I would ever need in a coffee machine. Although it was quite loud, I thought that the quality coffee that it made definitely made up for it.
But if you’re looking for a more quiet, better-looking machine, I think you should take a look at the Laekerrt.
All in all, I hope you gained all the information you needed from reading this review. Have you tried this machine or a similar one before? I’ll be interested in hearing your thoughts about it in the comments!
