As a coffee reviewer, I’m always on the hunt for new and unique coffee machines to try out. On my travels, I found this one: the HOMOKUS espresso machine.

The Design of the Machine
The design of the machine isn’t exactly the best-looking machine out there, but the stainless steel look does make it look pretty good. On top of that, it also ensures durability, promising a long lifespan, which is quite important for me. The compact design is perfect for me as I have limited counter space, so it’s quite a practical choice if you’re like me and have a small, cramped apartment.
User-Friendly Interface
One of the standout features of this espresso machine is its user-friendly interface. The display screen and pressure gauge allow me to accurately judge the pressure and temperature during extraction.
What’s more, I only had to press a button to choose between a single or a double espresso. It’s very easy to use and suitable for both a complete beginner and a seasoned coffee veteran.
20 Bar Pressure Pump
The 20 bar pressure pump and 1350W power provided me with great coffee and a fast and stable extraction so that there were hardly any taste differences between any of the coffees I’ve been making. The taste was great for the price, so if that’s what you are looking for, you should definitely try this one out.
Steam Wand for Cappuccino Lovers
I am a massive cappuccino addict. Because of this, I loved the powerful steam wand that comes with this machine. It is a breeze to create velvety microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos, and I was able to add a layer of richness to my cappuccinos, which I absolutely loved.
The steam wand’s 360-degree 360-degree movement allowed me to use it easily and gave me more precise control over the frothing process. It was very consistent and was probably my favorite part of the machine.
Maintenance of the Machine
The removable drip tray and water tank make cleaning a much more straightforward task, which compared to many others, is a massive relief.
I needed to descale it every month, but that was the only thing that took time. The stainless steel exterior made it exceptionally easy to clean, as I just needed to do a quick wipe down, and all the marks and splashes would come off the machine with ease.

I must say, for the cheap price, this truly is a great machine. Although the descaling took a while to do, the rest of the cleaning process was quite easy, and it made great coffee with great froth to top it off. In my opinion, this is a great option for anyone who wants a compact espresso machine for their kitchen.
