The new Calphalon Espresso machine with coffee grinder is a high-quality coffee maker that I just had to try out. With a steam wand and its own coffee grinder, it had all the makings of a top-range machine.
So, read on as I list my pros and cons in my review of this machine, so you can make a more informed decision when it comes to buying the best coffee machine for you.

Stars
The Look of the Machine
The stainless steel design really makes it stand out from its rivals. It’s not too big, yet it is big enough to fit everything you need without things getting too cramped.
The most impressive thing about it is its build quality. It doesn’t feel plasticky at all and feels like it will last a very long time, which I can’t say about the majority of machines I’ve previously tried.
Included Burrmill Grinder
The conical burrmill grinder is one of the biggest advantages of this espresso machine. I must admit: I loved it. It has over 30 adjustable settings! Because of this, I was able to grind the beans down to exactly how I liked them while putting in minimal effort.
This really helped in making fantastic coffees and was a great addition to an already good coffee machine.
Steam Wand
As a big latte fan, the steam wand was a great addition. I found that it created great silky microfoam, and the lattes that I made from it were absolutely delicious.
I was even able to do some latte art (even though the first few tries were a big failure)!
Cup Warming Tray
Having a warm coffee cup to drink out of really adds to the overall coffee-drinking experience. Because of this, the cup warming tray feature that comes with this machine was a fantastic addition.
Precise Temperature
In my opinion, one of the key factors you should look for when deciding what espresso machine to buy is brewing temperature consistency.
The Temp iQ system has a thermoblock heating technology and PID temperature control that evenly heats the coffee grounds during extraction.
This all sounds like mumbo jumbo; however, I found that the coffee did taste the same every time and was of quite high quality, so the technology definitely works!

I thought that this was a fantastic machine, especially if you love all things coffee. I was able to control the taste of my coffee much better than other machines due to the high-quality grinder and steam wand included.
