This is something a bit different than many other machines I’ve come across. Unlike many others, this machine is built into the kitchen, which is quite unique compared to almost any other on the market.
Because of how unique this is, I wanted to try it out. So, read on to find out more about this machine, including all the pros and cons that I found out about in my review of the Bosch BCM8450UC 24 Inch Wide Built-In Automatic Coffee Machine.

The Look of This Machine
I must admit, the built-in look makes it one of the most beautiful machines you can get. As it blends in with the kitchen, it looks just like another appliance, and it really does look high-quality. The stainless steel finish of this machine is the main cause of this great look in my opinion. Top marks when it comes to the design!
Touch Screen Design
Another great feature that I found is its touchscreen design. You can choose which coffee you want, whether it’s a creamy cappuccino or a latte macchiato. All you have to do is push the panel on the touch screen a few times, and it will make fantastic coffee for you with ease.
Powerful Customisation
I was able to make up to 13 different beverages with a touch of a button, and I could also store up to eight customized coffees that I loved the most. It was extremely easy to do, and once set up, I ended up using this feature a lot, especially when I was short on time in the mornings.
I could also make multiple drinks remotely through an app, and the coffee machine let me know when it was finished. This was quite unique, and although I didn’t use it too much, I could imagine it being a big hit for those who need it.
The Quality of the Coffee
So, the main reason you’re probably here is to find out if the coffee tastes as good as the machine looks. Well, let me answer this for you.
Personally, I thought it was amazing, especially for an automatic coffee maker. It could create a ton of drinks, and my favorite was the cappuccino. The foam was almost perfect, and the espresso it made was really high quality. All in all, I would definitely recommend it if quality coffee is something you’re after.
Ceramic Disks Grinding System
Using a high-quality grinder is crucial to create nice-tasting coffee. The ceramic disk grinding system that comes with this machine grinds the beans down very consistently and evenly, providing coffee grounds that are packed with great flavor. I really liked this feature, and it was definitely one of the best in-built grinders I’ve used.
Cleaning the Machine
Unfortunately, one of the most difficult parts about this machine was the cleaning. As you can probably imagine, cleaning a machine that is built into your kitchen can be problematic.
I must admit, I did find it a little difficult to get to all the nooks and crannies but overall, it wasn’t too bad to do. It also had a descaling function, which was a great help.

This is one of the best machines around if you want one that really blends in with the rest of the kitchen, and most of all looks beautiful. It’s also great for making a variety of different coffees extremely easily and is great for saving time if you lead a busy life.
Although it’s not the easiest to clean, in my opinion, the advantages of the great coffee it makes more than overshadow the cleaning aspect.
